Veet with their new product is set to embrace India’s fairly small yet developing category as according to latest ASSOCHAM report, India’s male grooming industry is set to grow at annual growth rate of 45%. Pankaj Duhan, chief marketing officer, RB Health South Asia said, “There have always been a lot of queries related to male depilatory products addressed to Veet via queries on e-commerce and Google searches. The strategy implemented by Veet is efficacious and potent as even before coming into the market they ushered a need for their product as almost all the stars favoured ‘body bare’. Reckitt Benckiser conducted a research where they concluded that 70% women think men with excessive body hair looks unattractive. Through this campaign, Veet paralleled Body bare as sexy and encourage men to try new product and find what works out for them.
